We are SO blessed

I just wanted to express how thankful I am for my beautiful family. I have two wonderfully happy and healthy children. My husband is a good father and good husband. I am blessed to be able to be home with Kyla and Owen everyday. And we have great extended family and friends.

I just read the book "A Boy called 'It'" completely heartbreaking. I knew before but it just reminded me how wonderful life is (even on the days that are the worst).

I grew up with a good family, we weren't perfect but no family is, but we had everything we needed plus more. I am so grateful we are able to do the same for our children. We have been so blessed, with our health, our home, Seth's job.

I need to remember even on the hard days it could be so much worse and be grateful for the gifts I have received, and take time to help and give service to those who need it.

Heavenly Father has given my family so much. We are so blessed for the Gospel and our blessings.

My little girl is growing up!

Kyla's personality is one that doesn't like change. So tonight when we were getting her ready for bed I just asked her if she wanted to think about sleeping on the bunk bed. And her response shocked me... She told us she wanted to sleep up there. So I then asked do you want to sleep on your bed on the floor or up on the bunk? She wanted the bunk... TONIGHT. My whole thought process of mentioning it tonight, was to prep her for it. (Prep needs to start about 3 plus months before she tries something) I don't know if I was read. So we thought if she wanted to try why not. (Yes I put my 2 year old, almost 3 year old, in a bunk bed) Here are pictures of the big event. I have mixed feelings about this, I am excited she gets to use her amazing bed, but sad because she is getting old enough to be sleeping up there, and a little guilty that I put my two year old in a bunk bed.
