so here I am a week into my trip and still have a little more than a week to go! I am really enjoying my stay and hanging out with my sister, she is the most awesome person ever! We went to my favorite restaurant the other night that I rant and rave about, it was good, but the place that use to be so original kinda sold theirselves out, have you ever heard of a place charging you for the second basket of chips, crazy! Also I am very glad we don't have sales tax like they do out here, 8.2 and 9.1... is that insane or what!
My mom had a little get together with her friends, they are an interesting group of people. We played a really fun game, I am not sure what it is called but there are three die, C L R and you roll them and money (just three dollars!) moves around the table. I almost won, but lost, it was fun anyways.
We went to dinner at a friends house on Sunday night, it was a little strange I have to admit because my parents knew this couple from my dad's job when we lived in AZ and now she was over there with her boyfriend. It was just a little strange.
Well other than that, my sister and I are going to lay out today and play in the pool the weather is beautiful, and the pool is 86 you can't beat that! We are then going to the best mall ever, hopefully I don't get myself in too much trouble there!

back to the desert
So here I am it is 6:30 AM in Arizona and the weather is amazing! Some people told me I was crazy for going back to AZ during the summer because it was so hot especially because I am preggo (for some reason or another I like that term better than pregnant).
I arrived yesterday, and my mom the sweetheart she is parked so I wouldn't have to struggle to get my own luggage off the of carousel (which I told her just to meet me in the pick up!) Well once she got my one piece of luggage (can you believe it, you can only bring one piece of luggage to check in now, that is crazy!) We started for the car... but my mom looking for the letter and number my mom wrote down... it did not exist so we were on a search for her car. So instead of having me get my own luggage and walking 50 feet out of a sliding glass door to the car, I got to tour the airport parking. Eventually we found it and were on our way.
I got in the pool yesterday, and let me tell you with a baby belly swimsuits are just not that fun. I look so funny I don't think I will even post a picture, I don't need to humiliate myself more than in my mom's backyard.

Her boyfriend BBQed, he is a pretty cool guy, I only met him yesterday but we will see how these next two weeks are.
I miss my hubby, for some reason I feel that I shouldn't be having fun without him. I called him yesterday and we had a mishap with the house, he had worked all day, had to get dog food, you know the adult things in life... me, I was going to lunch with my mom and swimming in the pool. I don't see that being very fair. I wish he could come out here, and hopefully when our little girl is a little older next summer he will.
I will have to post pictures once I get home, I forgot my connector to the computer, so I will be pretty busy uploading when I get back.
More to come on my travels in the desert.
